Too often we only see the ambitious end goal, and become discouraged trying to get there; by breaking it down into smaller, measurable, and achievable actions, we can more easily track our progress and build traction. I also like to look at things from another viewpoint when setting my objectives: I ask myself, 'What am I willing to suffer for?' It can be very easy to desire a promotion, financial independence, a new degree, a new leadership role, wonderful professional and personal relationships, etc., but if we don't ask ourselves what things we're willing to languish over (60 hour work weeks, night classes and loans, putting your heart on the line), how can you prioritize your objectives in a realistic manner?

Re: New research says Pinterest is set to surge next year, here’s why…

Yeah makes sense. I meant that it is difficult for the average person to follow so much social media. We (the marketers and sellers) are on all of them and interact to varying levels.

The issue with Pinterest is that many people do not curate their content. They add everything and that becomes a stream of noise.

I don't run a very busy blog (although it is old and well indexed), but if you are curirous ... http://blog.jorodrigues.com/

Jo

Re: New research says Pinterest is set to surge next year, here’s why…

Hey Jo, thanks for the comment. I am on Pinterest, but I haven't found much of a following on it. I'm trying to contribute there more often, but I think it is a bit of a hit and miss site. So far ... it's a miss :)

Re: New research says Pinterest is set to surge next year, here’s why…

Thank you. That is great info. Now, I can answer if someone asked me that sort of thing to me.

Yes, Pinterest has many users. There are many people who depend on Pinterest, either for business or other needs.

Pinterest is a favorite place to share the infographic. Since there are many people who prefer to learn through visual rather than text-based. :)

Thanks for sharing, Jeremy.
Hope you can enjoy your weekend!

~Nanda

Re: The 30-Second Hook That Builds Trust and RapportEdit Entry

Thank you Will

Re: The 30-Second Hook That Builds Trust and RapportEdit Entry

Great tips, Jeremy. I’ve done this many times over
and the end result is both blog networks deleted every blog I’ve created in the
past, each and every time. This alerts their spam filter and the blogs are
automatically deleted. After contacting Blogger and WordPress about this, I was
told never to post links pointing back to my sites; It’s violates their
policies.

catmario online

Re: Using LinkedIn To Drive Traffic To Your Blog In Your Social Media Marketing PlanEdit Entry

Awesome.
